Remember when I said interviewing season was over?
Well, not quite.
Just finished the interview with Adobe. This was one of the more frazzled experiences, and it did not go as planned.
To start off, I forgot my laptop at home, and this caused me to almost be late for the interview.
Second, I kept on having connection problems during the interview. I was constantly disconnecting from the collabedit, which made it hard to concentrate/focus. In particular, during the end of the second interview, I disconnected completely.
Third, I realized my issue with past interviews. Just a little bit of confusion can really throw off your entire train of thinking. It can introduce that fear.
Lastly, I was not expecting three 45 minute interviews, with coding questions in each. The questions were not exactly unfair, but I think they could have tested my machine learning/research experience more, especially since I thought I was interviewing for a researcher type position. They covered such low level concepts like reading bytes, bitsets/bit array etc.
I have one last one with Google this Friday, and I really need to go brush up on things.
